The Yamaha FG300 was a fantastically built dreadnought style acoustic guitar. These "Red Label" Yamahas were the absolute pinnacle of Japanese guitar manufacturing in the 1960s and 1970s. Designed to compete with the likes of Martin and Gibson the FG300 not only plays and sounds like the icons its compared to, but even features an Hummingbird style pickguard to complete the look.

This instrument features a spruce top with rosewood back and sides giving the sound a fantastic frequency range. This guitar takes a note from competitors like Gibson with its "scooped" upper mids that leave room for human vocals to punch past the guitar without having to be loader than the instrument.

As with any high value instrument, this guitar is worth protecting. This guitar comes with a hard shell case that fits the instrument snugly inside. Please note there is playing ware and a spot on the top where mild damage occurred. This is pictured, and to our ears does not seem to hurt the sound of this incredible instrument.
